First, a video of clients with their new eye glasses. The nonprofit Love Inc. of Newberg helped the clients obtain the glasses and filmed the video, and Give a Little covered the costs.

​I would like to express my sincere thank you for your help during this very difficult time. It was a humbling experience asking for help . . . but I must say that I am so grateful for the respectful manner in which I was treated.

​I’m forever grateful for the help on keeping my molar. I’ve had a rough beginning of the year, and thanks to Give a Little I was able to sleep with no pain and smile knowing I could keep all my teeth.

​Thanks to your foundation, I will be able to complete my certification for a CNA1 [Certified Nursing Assistant]. A lot of time and work went into this program, and because of your generosity it will be completed!

​My little brother and I wanted to thank you for providing a swimming pass in order for us to swim at the McMinnville Aquatic Center. . .both of us love to swim and play in the water. My single mom can’t afford to take us many places. So when I found out you decided to help I was surprised.

​It was with great surprise and joy when I received your gracious and most wonderfully generous gift today at the Senior Center. My wife and I have been through so much strife and turmoil these past few years and had begun to lose hope and faith. Your gift was like a bright shining light.

​This donation was a total blessing from God. I had not been able to see a dentist for five years. My mouth has hurt so bad because of problems with my teeth. I had missed work and had to take [so much] ibuprofen which gave me bad stomach aches. But since I have been able to see the dentist I have not taken any ibuprofen and my mouth does not hurt. He has fixed one tooth so far and we are making arrangements to fix the rest of my teeth. Thanks to your help I can enjoy life and smile again.

​Before your help I was thinking there was no kindness left in the world. So much had happened to me and my daughter. . .[At this point] we are able to stay above the waterline.

​With all my heart I wish to thank all who have contributed to the Give A Little Foundation. Their generosity helped me more than I can say. May you always be there for others like me.

​We all fall on hard times in life, it's nice to know someone is out there who can put us back on our feet.

I'm new to the area and only recently got a job. I didn't have work clothes. Honestly, it is very hard for me to ask for help, but I swallowed my pride and asked . . . I just picked up my work clothes. I'm so excited! I can't say thank you enough!

To those who so generously gave money to assist in getting me a used wheelchair lift, I cannot express to you the gratitude I feel. I have been housebound for many years now. I was afraid that I would never be able to get one, as these lifts are $2,300 and on up, but was fortunate enough to find this one used. Thank you for giving me part of my independence back, part of my life back. You have truly given me something that I will appreciate and be grateful for every day for the rest of my life! 

Not only did your organization gift me a gas card, but I’ve also got a subscription to our local paper.  It really means so much that you care and are helping us seniors. You really make us
smile. . . .We aren’t forgotten.
