Give a Little to Children and Youth

We are committed to supporting young people of all ages in Yamhill County, especially those who are from low-income families or experiencing homelessness.

We collaborate with partner agencies and organizations that assist children and youth.

We also work directly with school contacts—counselors, teachers, and administrators—who are responsible for identifying specific needs of individual students.

In past years, we have regularly provided:

hundreds of pairs of shoes and socks
many winter jackets
other clothing
school supplies
hundreds of new and gently-used books
holiday meals
eye glasses
dental care
toiletry supplies
lice kits
umbrellas
pool passes (for physical therapy)
and more.

This is how a local 4th grader came to school in the morning.

The cloth bags were sewn and donated by members of the Gone to Pieces Quilt Guild in McMinnville.

Chemeketa Community College Scholarships

We also award scholarships to Yamhill County high school graduates who have struggled with homelessness or are first-generation college students. We have recently named our eleventh recipient.

This scholarship isn't just an awarded amount of cash.
In my eyes, it is my future.
