Give a Little and Freelin-Wade, one of the ten largest employers in Yamhill County, will work together in 2010 to raise funds for people in need.

McMinnville's Freelin-Wade has announced a fundraising partnership with the McMinnville-based Give A Little Foundation for 2010. The goal is to raise funds for the foundation and make a difference in the community.

For several years, employees have supported a variety of charitable causes through fundraising and awareness. They have raised more than $21,000 in the last two years alone.

Give A Little provides direct, immediate, one-time financial assistance to individuals and families facing a crisis or emergency. Its operating expenses are covered entirely by its board, so 100 percent of donations are used to help people in need.

Matt Schaffner, captain of this year's employee team, said, "I'm really excited about this. Give A Little is a small organization that is already impacting lives.

I think our involvement will help them grow on many levels. In fact, that's our goal for this year: Help them grow."
